Campervan exploring in scotland
Jump to: Newest in thread
We are looking to find like minded local people who would be interested in weekends away in the van, none of our friends are into the van lifestyle so we usually end up just ourselves but it would be good to find some travel buddies to have a laugh and explore with. Could be fab or vanilla just some laughs and enjoyment We are based in fife and are away most weekends exploring. |

"We are up there tomorrow starting the Scottish 500 in ours"
I drove this route every 5 weeks for 14 years for work, before it acquired it's snappy sounding name. Miles and Miles of single track road with passing places which are now filled with 'wild campers', convoys and hooray Henry's in fancy gas guzzling cars.
A beautiful, once unspoiled part of the world, now seemingly spoiled forever.
Thank goodness I'm now retired! |

"Im out with the female half in aberfoyle area this weekend in campervan wheres is the hotspots for going ? Any suggestions welcome "
We love it at loch choon, the roads are very narrow though so am not to sure many spots you'll get with the camper but there's a few big laybys you could get in |

We use our campervan all the time visiting clubs, trips to Blackpool, tours of France, Spain and Germany etc
Driven twice to Cap d'Agde in it
We love the freedom it allows and we love a road trip x |

Full leather swivel double arm rest captains seats on board (correct homophones here ;p)
Great for the straddle
Also pretty good for someone filming the action too |

Got to be wild camping not a massive fan of sites unless away a few days.

Thinking of trying to organise a small social campervan meet around glencoe area sometime soon. Few couples some drinks and a wee fire pit. Nothing heavy just a fun get together with some drinks. Get in touch if interested and can get serious about dates etc. possibly got another couple onboard already |
