I wonder if there is a place to share the info of the scammer to prevent others, could admins take actions of those profiles?

Unfortunately admin can't do anything unless you spot their new profile.

If you want to go to parties I'd recommend only paying for the publicly advertised and well verified ones, unless they are people you actually know in real life. Keeps it safer.

Did you look into these people, check their verifications, check those that left the veris, check the forum for any party posts by them, message anyone who had attended etc?

If you're being asked for money you really need to do some homework unless you've met the people in question. If you haven't met them and taking distance into account, ask for a social to discuss and possibly pay if you feel satisfied.

The onus is on you to make sure these people are legit as best you can. There are people who will take advantage in every walk of life, its up to you to ensure you're not taken for a ride. If you didn't look into them before parting with your cash, then really it's on you.

I was scammed too this weekend and I'm willing to bet it was the same person that scammed you. In hindsight, there were some red flags that I just didn't pay attention to.

Ah well, lessons to be learned for next time.

Guys need to learn think with their big head. Stop handing over money based on what your wee head is telling you

I get the feeling this was the same person I spoke to, saying about a couple of parties over the weekend. Greedy girls Friday and PVC night Saturday. Lost interest as soon as I got a message saying had to send money via xoom and wouldn't accept cash at door.

This sort of behaviour is always targeted at guys and I know this will sound harsh and I do apologise if it does, but they target men because of the borderline desperation to meet. I really don’t mean that in an insulting way.

Do not ever commit to anything financially, it’s literally that simple chaps, no female or couple will refuse you for being careful

It's the big girls' fault!

I'd add that while I understand the frustration this has caused, perhaps posting this and his status possibly Marks him as a potential target? Or maybe I'm just super cynical.

I.p bans would possibly help as person be back again with same I.p address trying it on again with someone else.

Don't let it get you down op or others who experienced similar takenit as a learning experience and never part with cash just to get to a meet

On that profile was showing previous dates, and profile verified , I had not other plans that day so I decided asking about and I was chatting for a bit, as you see there were more people affected and only few recognised their mistake, anyway was not big money, I just wasted time , but scammers still between us !
