Don't get why people need to change there profile name all the time!! .. surley people ain't that stupid to not realise its still the same person behind the profile regardless of there name .. I just don't get it personally lol |

I think folk like to change things up, keep it fresh. Don't see what diff it makes.
Or maybe they've had shit from people in the past, and instead or feeling like the need to leave the site they opt to change their names.

There's one guy on here who has his name plus 5 numbers after it. He'll send me an abusive message once I decline his interest, then he'll block me so I can't reply, then he'll come back with another one with just one digit different, and do it all over again. Like I can't work it out  |

I deleted my account and rejoined a few months later with a new profile name then decided I didn't like it so reverted to my previous. Don't see anything wrong with that. |

A good rule of thumb is too look after you’re own profile and let others look after theirs |

I changed mine after a profile re-write. Put up a thread here and everything in a bid to come across better and more appealing.
I'm still not sure it's a great user name change but it's certainly better.
Sometimes we all just need a bit of an update and a rebranding so to speak. Although I must conceed that many do it purely to appear as a different person.
Such is the nature of the site sadly. |

Have deleted my profile a few times over the years and when I come back to fab I usually pick something different as my username (this time, it’s my nickname and year of birth) |

I think you need to be site supporter to change your name. You can change it 4 times a year... One for every season  |

I change my name .. its not to avoid , deceive or shake off a bad reputation .. its because I want to and I can .. why on earth would the site stop it , it does no harm .. nowhere else I can think of makes you stay with the same username for the entirety of your stay so why should fab be any different . |

I think this is a good point. Many people don't put so much thought into their name when joining. Hindsight is great when you can do something about it. |

I’ve had the same username since I first joined in, actually I’m no saying as I’m like part of the furniture really but it is over a decade!

I went for the first thing that came into my mouth
Been thinking of changing my username as well. Had pringles since the day I started on here and like someone said further up, getting the same slogan over and over again is getting a bit tedious x |
