"Saw Elvis on Wednesday though which was brilliant.
I loved this! The actor was amazing!
Oh I also loved Maverick."
Yeah I couldn't believe how good he was in the role. Kinda knew the story but still incredibly sad. |

Yep despite all the hype I loved it great mix of nostalgia and action.
Worth the wait in my opinion.
Love the movies sometimes the film can be a let down I thought this was one of the better ones |

Really enjoyed both of them - pleasantly surprised how much I did, as I didn't have big expectations. Thought Elvis was superb, actually - although, nevermind people crunching crisps, that one was full of people singing along
Went to go see Where The Crawdads Sing last week - that was really good.
Never really have much trouble with people on their phones, but those people who wait until the film starts before they pull out their carrier bags and start rustling in the dark for all their illicit snacks... |

"I actually thought Elvis was a brilliant movie
It was a well written and well acted movie...just the story line was revisionist pish from Hollywood. Elvis was a manipulative cnut... "
Well written, on the fence with that tbh
Well acted, yeah except Hanks' accent
Technically sound, first half classic Luhrman, his signature framing of shots and use of light, second half looks like it wasn't him, looked like studio ordered re-shoots and editing taken out of his control.
And don't start me on the segments of hip-hop in the soundtrack, this is a biopic of one of the great singers/entertainers of the 20th century, with an amazing back catalogue to choose from. |
