The Scottish section of the forum is just basically an advertising place for Eclessia or CJs. More power to both clubs but isn’t there a section already for this?

Monday morning (mild) rant over

Don't forget the other 9 posts that are club's or socials on first page alone .

Sorry you had a small rant and we can even understand your observation as their is a club section but that gets swamped by the 101 club's in England and has no traction generally with Scottish population.

We did try there also but got zero traction as expected so dropped the deadwood for future events.

Onwards and upwards as fortunately there are other topics people can read from football to pegging

Kudos gets a mention now and again also After Eight which will be re-opening soon . These are topics that attract people whose interest is in the Scottish club scene so will get more coverage .

If folk want more subjects covered it’s up to them to post about things that interest them . I’ve four new sets of rubber thanks to my recent post .

There is a club section but the Scottish contingent of fab are too lazy to look in there plus the amount of clubs who do advertise it can get lost in translation so here tends to be the place for all things Scottish

We’re all for the club scene, think we just looked last night and it was essentially a list of club posts. So less likely to use that part of the forum now.

Anyway, off for a browse.

I'm sure a ruling was made by a Fab mod a while ago that this was a topic pertaining to Scottish users only and as such it was allowed to be in here as opposed lost in the pool of English clubs , they made the same decision as threads about independence as it was predominantly about a Scottish talking point and wasn't required to be in the politics part of the forums. Both topics I suppose can be annoying to some people but both topics are have fairly good participation by many Scottish users so it's good that Fab allows them to stay where they are. For once it's good to see the minority not spoil it for the majority in these cases. It's a good example for following Fab rules , if you don't like the subject matter simply skip on past.
