Austerity meant I had to cancel Netflix and Amazon Prime. I picked up most of these on DVD from eBay for pennies. I had to wipe down a few of the discs with antiseptic wipes but they're all great.

"Our Ladies.
Worst film I have ever seen
I thought it was very good, just a great story very well told and without violence. "
I know some of the cast and was really looking forward to it. I found the dialogue very cringey at times |

I thought The Northman was good - it very much *is* "the plot of Gladiator with the set from Game of Thrones", but well worth checking out if you liked either of those.
Agree with the comment above about Uncharted being pretty decent also.
I watched Spectral on Netflix the other night and enjoyed that.
If you're looking for lighter stuff, then check out some of these:
The Lost City (very enjoyable silliness that doesn't quite like up to its superb trailer, but is good anyway)
Operation Mincemeat (absolutely superb "war" film with a stellar cast and great storyline)
The Duke (super-funny and endearingly British comedy about a pensioner nicking a famous painting to fund OAP TV licences)
The Phantom Of The Open (another top Brit comedy about a shit golfer who blags his way onto a major tournament and plays an epicly bad round - and then keeps doing it each year just to piss off the organisers)
The last three are actually films about real events, which makes them even more fascinating as you enjoy watching. |

I didn't enjoy Operation Mincemeat...the love story detracted from the war stuff. |
