I notice an increasing trend for people putting on their profile the warning quoted below. What's your view please? I always thought it's useless but looks like there is more and more people using the warning!

It's funny to think some people actually think writing a warning will protect them in the slightest! If you don't want exposed don't take the pics or write your name!!! |

Doesn't bother me to be honest. Folk maybe following a trend rather than thinking for themselves. I'd rather read that than a list of demands on a profile and several references to being "professional". Leaves me with the impression they've disappeared up their own arse.

It's utter nonsense, though at least some have the sense to change it to the right site name when they copy and paste. Many still spout similar nonsense about "...Facebook is a publicly traded entity blah blah blah..." - though it makes even less sense changing it to Fab, and proves the person either hasn't read or doesn't understand what they've copied and pasted.
None of it has any legal standing anyway, the site's T&Cs that you agree to when joining, plus copyright etc when it comes to images, are what count if anyone were to instigate "legal ramifications". Agreeing to the site's T&Cs then posting that doesn't change what you've agreed to. And anyone who was going to steal images will do so anyway regardless of how many meaningless warnings anyone might write. |

Sheep following sheep in my opinion, it serves no purpose other than telling me the person that owns the profile are as thick as shit. Just my honest opinion. |

Mate its class, love a good warning sign!
Every time I read the same post on numerous profiles makes me think of the studies i see about Fab and what possible data could be gained from profiles… I’ve added it twice for double the protection.
Its even better when people dont add a single word on their description and just copy and paste it as a gap filler, it is like kryptonite to the institutions or individuals that try and penetrate fab with their studies, they just melt away like the wicked witches of the west
