"Hi
Im hoping to go to Iceland sometime soon to see the gysers, has anyone else been and is there anything else to do?
Is it a 4 day jont or a 2 week official summer holiday?"
I suggest watching a couple of Icelandic films to get some cultural hints and tips.
"Ram" & "Lamb" should do the trick |

You can go on the Golden Circle (not shower) tours which usually cover Skogafoss, Gullfoss, Geysir and sometimes Thingvellir in 1 day. All of them are really worth seeing. Sadly the latest volcanic eruption down at Fagradalsfjall has stopped now.
Reykjavik is a great place to hang out for a few days and the public hotpools are really cheap. If you want the fancier end, then a trip to the Blue Lagoon is good.
Food and drink is usually expensive, but most pubs in Reykjavik have happy hours at different times. Wine and spirits are always more expensive than here.
Hope you enjoy your trip! |
