Anyone going to Ecclesia on Friday and will it be your first experience of the club side? It'll be my first time and I'm really nervous but also really looking forward to it!

From what I've read on the website it is a dry venue and they don't want d*unk people there. Whether they will allow people to bring a couple of drinks though I'm not sure! |

I can confirm that this is not a dry event! Trust me we wouldn’t be going never mind hosting if it was!!!!

Nevermind, I didn't read the rules properly before buying a ticket, I don't really like the idea of everyone having their phones on them. Only takes one bad egg to decide to take a photo, swing and a miss for me. |

And to clarify, the club's I've been to in the past have all had cloak rooms or lockers for putting phones, and strict no phones allowed rules if it's for swinging. In kink clubs it's been phones on the floor with you but no photos or videos, I just wouldn't feel comfortable while there's the potential for me to be recorded having sex.
It's just not my thing, I'd be way too anxious to be able to enjoy myself |

Not having a go at you but most folk have their phones on them in clubs, they just have the common sense not to have them out, I think you're being a wee bit rash not going, it's kinda an unspoken etiquette that folk won't abuse the situation.

If you're a club goer or been to clubs before then you'll know that phones are kept in your handbag and either off or on silent. I personally don't mind this at all. CJ has a cloakroom where your bag stays and I would think most other clubs have this policy too. As it states on the rules for Ecclesia, they just want your phone off or on silent. They're not telling you not to bring it in and I'm assuming if you do need to use your phone, they will likely ask you to go outside with it x |

And there's no prerequisite that you must have sex

It's only social from 7pm until 10pm. Instead of wasting your ticket, why don't you go along for the social side, and leave the event when play is allowed? It's an unspoken etiquette that nobody would film anyone, so I imagine you guys would be okay xx |

I had a fantastic night. Well done to the organisers. Both the staff at the Club and the not so Shy and definitely not Innocent for putting together a great wee crowd. The club is fab, the rooms looked amazing, only managed to sample one. Special thanks to my friends who also enjoy a bit of kinky fuckery |

Just to clarify:
The "guest list" was on a 1st come 1st allocated basis, not allocated on who people knew. There were people there we did know as well as many we didn't. Those that were there can confirm it was a full house & hopefully those that didn't get a space know not everyone could attend. The only stipulation was that everyone could provide a fab account as some weren't happy to do so.

I like to think I'm friends with most people I've met on the scene. Certainly no cliques, and no packs. Fantastic night, organised by the gorgeously, sexy Shy and Innocent. Thank you! I would have pulled out several times if it wasn't for Shy's support. As we'd hired the dungeon privately a couple of times & had a tour of the place we agreed to organise a social event to help promote it as we thought it looked good & had potential. We have no ties to the club & certainly didn't do it for financial gain. It definitely makes it worth it when everyone has a good night though.
