Soooooo dabled in anal in the past but weirdly the older I get the more worried I am about prep for it. Any top tips? How long before the “event” should I douche? Tips would be soooo welcome    |

After going on one for other reasons, you may want to look at a low residue diet for a day or two beforehand.
It's not as bad as it sounds, and there's still enough variety to have a good diet for those couple of days.

Good lube! LoveHoney and similar retailers do a great lube for anal play, not scented or flavoured in any way. And positions are important! Doggy isn't always the most comfortable, experiment with positions ( I'm a fan of receiving anal whilst on my back with pillows under my hips, he likes using our "bend over boyfriend" (two pronged toy for pegging) whilst on top, or laid on his front with pillows under his hips. |

My top tip would be to make sure you invest in anal lubricant. Normal lube tends to dry and go kinda tacky fairly quickly. Anal lube is much wetter, and stays wet. Trust me, that's the difference between, "Get the fuck away from me," and "Get that fucking IN me!" Lmao!xx |

Liquid Silk is a great lube. Douche at least an hour before - too close and you run the risk of a watery mess.
When you Douche only use 1 full bulb and repeat till the water runs clean - if you push too much water up you'll be watery and brown for hours.
Good luck. And kudos for preparing - as the saying goes, if you go knocking on shits door, don't be surprised if shit answers... It ain't nice for anyone involved though ha

Make sure you open your bowels before using it any other way, maybe use a plug (this might also help to encourage your bowels to open) as it will also open and stretch/relax you a bit. If you’re going to douche, do it when you shower |

As the 'penetrator' - lol - I have never been that bothered besides just making sure the externals are clean. The problem with douching and all the other shenanigans is that, unless it is a pre-planned thing (which almost takes the spontaneity out of the act), it can put a dampener on the whole thing.
Ive rarely had a partner who has douched prior to anal and Ive rarely seen anything 'untoward'. Those times that I have, Ive never given it a second thought - we've just taken ourselves off for a shower before continuing. Its no big deal.
I would suggest that if the 'penetrator' is that bothered about anything like that, they refrain from doing it...accidents happen even after douching. |

Don't find you need to take on that much water personally. Two standard capsules (if you take it in pill form) or one teaspoon with 250ml water and then you just stay hydrated as you normally would and it's no problem. |

I used to have a sex life where it was the biggest thing for us ,, alas, its no more haha, however my prep would involve , and I can't believe I'm saying this, deliberately kinda slowing things down in that area for a couple of days prior to event , and regular douching for those couple of days ,, see now lol , it's all too much bloody hassle |
