Hi fellow Fifers... We think we can speak on behalf of most of us that the Fife swinging scene is very quiet compared to the cities. We are considering organising a social event. Would probably be central Fife, in November. Wondering if this would be of interest and if so, comment below. Numbers would determine venue. V & R |

As a single guy I appreciate why social events/clubs/parties have to have limits.
Personally I'd hate to go somewhere and the majority was single guys.
The maths just don't work.
Has to be a fair mix which there usually is.

The last thing we wanted was this turning into anything other than like minded people having an opportunity to meet socially and potentially set up some fun meets. Ideally we would like an even amount of groups. Singles/couples/tv/ts and everything in between!
We doubt we will be lucky enough that way for it to happen though. We all know there is a vast amount of single guys on Fab, and some are actually decent. We have met some!
But seriously, we were just testing the water to see what interest there was. Now that there is we will put some plans in motion and come up with some dates.
We will keep you all posted. Thank you R&V |

I understand the need for it to be balanced numbers,I was more annoyed at the derogatory reference to single guys of which tjer was no need.i didn't mean to bring down your post  |

That works for us as nothing worse than a room full of just single guys as want to chat to couples as well |

I'd certainly be interested in a Fife Social, just as long as single males, females as well couples don't feel excluded that there is not any cliques and everybody is made to welcome and that everyone can have a fantastic evening. |

Funny thing is it would be the guys that would be the first to moan if they turned up and it was a 'sausage fest'. Speaking as a couple if we turned up and there where massive amount of single guys that would put us off, make us feel bit uncomfortable so yes a good balnce is alway good in any situation. |

We checked our block list 3 times. You were not on it. So we are unsure why you can’t find us. Fab can be weird that way. Either way, you are welcome to the social if you wish to come. The date is the 9th October X |

Hi all. 2 more days before we need to pay the deposit for the event. There has been lots of interest but only a handful have actually came forward and paid the deposit. Please message us privately for payment details otherwise the event will be cancelled. (All monies will be refunded if the event is cancelled)

Unfortunately we didn’t get enough deposits paid. All deposits that were paid will be returned over the weekend.
Thanks to all who showed an interest and to those that did commit to coming.
Maybe it needed more planning ahead for people to schedule their time?
If people just want to meet for drinks we suppose something can still happen. Just not in a private setting.

What a shame the Fife social didn’t take off. I’d have thought it would have been popular. There are often forum posts of people complaining that socials don’t happen in their area.
Well done to the OP for attempting to organise the night. It must be an awful let down given the time and effort you invested. x |
