Where in our stunning country have you stood and had a wow moment. Mine would be standing on top of Ben Vorlich (by Tay) a few weeks ago

Ben Lawyers, top of Ben Ledi, first time up Ben A’an and Conic hill, top of Schiehallion, Glen Finnich, Loup of Fintry….so many more. I love scenery and I love our countryside. I’m in awe of how much beauty is around us when we step out the towns and cities.

Glasgow

Awww way too many to mention.

A couple that spring to mind are:

The Mull of Oa, the views are staggering, looking over to Northern Ireland and taking in the Kintyre peninsula and also the islands of Jura, Colonsay and Mull.

Or

The viewpoint at Tighnabruaich looking down to see Loch Riddon and the Kyles of Bute.

Or

The watchtower (Dun na Cuaiche) at Inveraray.

Panoramic views looking over Loch Fyne.

All spectacular

Edinburgh

Any time I'm on my bike.

The changing scenery, barren, to wooded, coastlines, to rolling hills.

Weather, season, and lighting gives you distinct versions of the same view.

It wasn't anywhere particularly scenic but it took my breath away.

The Mull of Kintyre on a clear day, looking across the water to Antrim, with Islay just visible to one's right.

Even in Scottish towns we are spoiled with surrounding country, looking over Clyde on a clear day always reminds me how lucky we are up here.

Calgary Bay on Mull.

The most stunning white sand beach and blue waters.

Great little camping spot next to a stream that runs down to the sea

My commute to work is littered with those 'wow' moments... Every day people are stopped to take in the views I see every day.... Maybe one day... Someone from here will help me make one of them an extra "phwoar" view lol
