It beats the twilight stuff I used to see on another site. Everyone was wanting their own Edward or Jacob. If you didn't coat yourself in glitter and look all angsty all the time, you got nowhere.
Makes me wonder. In a year or so, what will the next trend be? |

Well I thought I might get abused for posting my views on these "Mr Grey" tag lines and mentions in profiles...
So I am pretty happy that others are just as sick and tired of them as me.... |

Couldnt agree more!
To me its Just a weak S & M story, splashed with word plays and innuendo then beaten by a thesaurus repeatedly. Yes mate we get it you like adjectives. |

I thought it was a great book and trilogy, things like this dont come around often and should be relished as great pieces of modern day liberating sexuality...anyway..thats the file deleted now. |

No read it so cannae comment. But a few vanilla mates are hungry for more. A couple I know asked if I thought that scotland had 'facilities for those that are that way inclined". From the convo they are certainly - shall we say - more than "play curious " now. Ok us FAB pervs may mock it but if such literature liberates the vanillas to the extent that they are genuinely looking to play - then would be no bad thing if they join the scene. |

i thought the books were a tad tame, tedious and trite. The sexual elements were repetitive and overly crass. For me, the whole point of a good book is reading between the lines and letting your imagination form the imagery of the charachters....that's the real escapism |

I enjoyed the books though there were badly written. Made a nice wee change to my normal reading material. Now reading victor and Kelly as heard that was a better read?  |

Don't you mean it needs beaten by a Thesauras repeatedly? Grammar, punctuation and sentence composition make it a difficult read till you get used to the writing style.

Not difficult to read just written for the mass market, hence why so many have read it. I dunno what I was expecting when I did read it but was kinda disappointed, give me real life any day  |
