Hi everyone. We know lockdown is on and there’s a pandemic and all, but that doesn’t stop us (in fact it makes us want to more!) from wanting to plan a visit to CJs!
We’ve never been but do love a visit to Glasgow for a dirty weekend when we can! The kids are now at an age where we can ditch them (we love them really) for a few nights again so once a new normal
Is established, we’d love to get something booked.
In the meantime we would love to chat with couples, ladies and maybe the odd guy who have been to CJs and may be interested in joining us there.
Some practical things we’d like to know such as any recommendations for nice AirBnB accommodation nearby? Restaurants to go to etc?
Also interested to hear about your experiences of the club itself and in particular your first visit.

Massively nervous first visit (second time to a club/first in uk) parked up and I (mr) pretty much ran in with Mrs CT to get it out of the way.
We were there nice and early, signed in, waited five and got a tour with another couple.
We did meet and play with a couple that night, but you could go and have a social night with no pressure. It was really busy the night we went too.
As for hotels, we usually try and stay at a village hotel as they have a gym and they’re fairly cheap. Also easy to take extra guests back too. |

We stayed at the Village last time we went to CJ’s, it was good, nothing to complain about. It was actually quite difficult finding hotels in Glasgow that have parking, that Village does which is a bonus.
We got the Uber driver to drop us off just up the road from CJ’s as we didn’t want dropped off right at the door. I’m sure others have done the same, no one seems to mind so much getting into taxi’s at the door on the way out though! |

CJ's has a good share of supporters and people that love the place, but it's deserved.
Yea your first visit will be a little intimidating, as there will be loads of folks that know each other and are casually chatting and having a laugh, but everyone will make you feel welcome, and you should find it easy to relax quite quickly.
My first visit was stressful, but it was because it was on a Friday before Christmas, and I spent over 30 minutes trying to find a taxi.
I used to stay at Easy Hotel, as it was nice and cheap and you really just need somewhere to "crash" but it's not cheap any more, and for a few quid extra you can get better places with basics which Easy Hotel class as extras.
For me almost anywhere central will do, so I can get to the shops etc, and the taxi to CJ's is only ever about £5. Probably more now though seeing as it's been about 14 months since I was last there.

I got a taxi from the city centre to cjs once. I got in & just gave him the address. Half way there he asked me if I was going to cjs. I said I might have been ..... turned out he was on fab too!

I've had a few drivers ask what's in the place, and I've always just said it's a Private Club, but once a guy asked outright "Is that the sex club? The lads have all told stories about it".

BeardedBlossom usually run some pre drinks before CJ's.
Anywhere in town is good for only being five minutes in taxi. Or west end.
My first visit was a good one, a tour round the place, and spent the night speaking to various people (mostly in the bar). Bar staff were spot on. |

Me and my hubby have been around 6 times. Each time it’s been a different experience, Infact the first time was probably our naughtiest ! Lol. I really like the social side of it and everyone’s so friendly. It’s our favourite place to go  Cj shows you around and is very friendly so are all the staff then they leave you to it. There are a few rooms with different vibes and music and also the bar area and kitchen (where I can be seen eating all the buffet lol. We took our car there and left it until the next day, then we got a taxi home. |

Been to Cjs a few times now and we have both always had a great time, we havent pushed ourselves to have some fun there yet but plenty of time in the future. Everyone is always friendly and great to chat too and even though we were amongst the younger side of the crowd it didnt put us off one bit |

Correct the Townhouse in Edinburgh had a steam room, sauna and hot tub in the basement area deffo our favourite of all the CJ venues |

As fairly regular members of cjs; just really enjoy it
I went there as a solo F and was nervous as didn’t know anything about the ‘swinging scene’ but Cj took me round on the tour, bar staff put me at ease and I occasionally play but mostly there to banter. More importantly, I felt safe and comfortable.
We usually just stayed overnight at cjs (fresh sheets and designated rooms) rather than a hotel (as it was cheaper and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking) and then drive home the next day.

Went xmas 2yrs ago with my OH who had been before. liked the layout of the place and saw a lot of folk I'd chatted to over the last few yrs although not met them properly. Sad to say I kinda lost my bottle as it was my first time and left early. was hoping . Hopefully will be able to go again soonto go back then lockdown happened |
