I'm not great at English history. Blame my teachers for that lol
However what's the point of having head of state ie the queen if she isn't actually in obvious open power (assuming she isn't covertly running the show that is).
We have a prime minister and supposed democracy so what is her and her families point exactly?
Ps: not trying to push a anti royal agenda merely wondering why she and her family are still about and where better to ask than amongst a bunch of free shagging swingers lmao |

It isn"t your teachers fault you aren't any good at English, take some responsibility.
There is plenty of information out there if you want to research it. It will help your understsnding of history in the process |

It's quite a long story, but the upshot is, Parliament keeps Royalty from being too powerful and vice versa. In theory. |

Exactly in theory and thanks for actually paying attention and answering the question lol
Just wanted to see what thoughts all had on this as that's what we're all led to believe following from cromwells victory in the civil war but I personally wonder at the virtue of what we're told and if that's what is truly what we're lead to believe. |

It's written in law. But has only been tested on a a very small number of occasions. Even then the rule of law triumphed. |
