Isn’t it awful that Presidents can just pardon who they like? For instance 1,500 rioters from 4 years ago.
For a civilised country, they seem to be acting in a very uncivilised manner.
Rule of Law should surely apply to everyone and Presidents shouldn’t be contemplating misusing laws to increase their political clout.
What a sad state of affairs that someone is so fearful of a future malicious prosecution, that they have to go down that line.

The answer is nothing… but it’s all tied up in something larger
It’s Because trump has said in the past that he would go after a lot of people in retribution
Remember the vengeance list Trump said he would go after…
I knew someone would bring up the 5 Biden family pardons as well and to be honest it could look bad in isolation and to be honest I don’t think he needed to… but in context look at who else is covered under that pardon.. the likes of Liz Cheney, Adam schiff, Bennie Thompson, Alexander vindman, Michael fanone, and the list goes on…
The common denominator… those people all involved in one way either with the impeachments of Ukraine, or January 6th… committee members, outspoken campaigners, those who took the stand as witnesses, people who have basically made Trump look silly at some point
Or in the case the us action in the COVID crisis….

Yes it was by RFK Jr. He is (at least he was) a democrat whilst writing his book so hardly a Trumpian at the time he was grinding his axe.
If it was all lies, disinformation and untrue then Faucci would have taken him to the cleaners. I haven't heard anything with regard to lawsuits against him. The book is selling quite well too. Maybe a few less suckers in the populous the next time the powers try to con the global public with lockdowns and jabs.

The same thing happened with Dr Robert Gallo he was "pardoned" by Clinton after being charged three times for bringing science into disrepute.
This scumbag falsified his research and voilà invented HIV AIDS ... his methodology has never been replicated in any other laboratory only his ... and he sought to make millions by patenting the so called "virus" ... the test kits ... and a possible vaccine. Preemptive pardon makes no sense and has set a very dangerous precedent moving forward.
It's tantamount to an admission of guilt, more so considering it extends back to 2014, well before COVID was even imagined. If there are concerns of wrongdoing and perjury before Congress for gain of function research they should be investigated. If he's innocent he shouldn't have to worry.
Moving forwards every administration will now be tempted to do similar with officials that served during their term, even if no conviction or proof of wrongdoing have been established.
