Had Jeremy Corbin won the general election instead of Boris Johnson, how do you think he would have acted, reacted and dealt with the current global pandemic and why?
Looking back did we get the better leader or not for this global issue affecting out nation? |

May have locked down a bit sooner but 9 years of austerity rendered the system incapable to cope with this crisis. Funding for labs was slashed during austerity, hence no testing capability and funding for loads of stuff. Probably would not have been that different. |

I think the last election was the best ever in our history for Labour to lose and will only strengthen Labour for the next one with all the misery that's going to be inflicted until then. |

Corbyn is a man of principle and probably a good bloke at heart. Possibly a lateral thinker, not a team player, his record when not Labour leader showed he would often vote against his own Party and yet once Leader together with his Momentum mob mates dissent was less tolerated.
He is not a Leader.
Unfortunately a Labour Government under Corbyn would most likely have wanted to having meeting after meeting, go to conference, get Union Backing, consult the local Party and genrally dither rather than be decisive.
I am not saying that Boris and the Tories have been particularly desisive, i just do not think overall Labour or any other Party would have done anything much better or differently. |

If u want to have a little insight to how I think corbyn would of handled it, just read “corbyn the dangerous hero” .... for a start we wouldn’t of had an army to help out, the police would of bean told to hand cuff themselves etc.... he believes in ruling by revolution.. I’m not a fan of the tidies but at least with them u know what your going get ... and at the end of the day, all this, whether is been useful, late, on time, good bad or indifferent, as got to be paid back.. so who ever is in power in the future years, get ready for higher taxes .. it’s not just a British problem, of acting to late, not doing enough, not enough ppe or testing.. the world is suffering in the same fate ... just saying, but still happy |

It doesn't matter he didn't.
Better to concentrate on the what now rather than what if. |

This demonstrates a point that I often find myself making around here.
The British electorate are very easy to manipulate. I know this is an extreme example, but just look what people who read the daily mail end up believing. |

Yes he would. That's the entire point.
And as for the "experts" being privately educated, I assume you mean virologists and doctors? Are you making a point about inequality within the education system? Because if so, I would agree with you. |

"May have locked down a bit sooner but 9 years of austerity rendered the system incapable to cope with this crisis. Funding for labs was slashed during austerity, hence no testing capability and funding for loads of stuff. Probably would not have been that different."

Alas, nothing to do with all the borrowing the Tories did. Nothing to do with all the tax dodgers.
It's Labours fault lolz. Always someone elses fault.
Maybe we can go further back. King Arthur, it's all his fault. |

There is an article written by one of the scientists consulted over COVID-19 saying the scientific community is angry that their advice was not just ignored but that the government did the OPPOSITE of what they advised. Now the government are blaming scientists for advice that never existed.
The document that reveals this is redacted from beginning to end.
Nothing to hide then? |

Source really? Just about very us media out let.
No point in talking to a Labour voter. You can’t see past Labour being the optimist hope for working class. In all truth it can’t be fourth the truth.
The champagne socialists that for some reason you all look up to?!?!?!

The list is endless, I really don’t know why I even bother trying to make you see a different point of view. Short sighted is an understatement.
Hilarious, you don’t know the source because there isn’t one. I hope you are happy with the way Boris the Buffoon and his band of fuckwits (apart from Rishi Sunak) are dealing with the crisis ?
What Rishi done that's worth praise? (Apart from accidentally voting against his own party?)

I think the government have handled the financial side of the crisis well, I can be persuaded to think otherwise though |

"May have locked down a bit sooner but 9 years of austerity rendered the system incapable to cope with this crisis. Funding for labs was slashed during austerity, hence no testing capability and funding for loads of stuff. Probably would not have been that different.
Always find this kind of post funny, yes austerity due to a train crash government run by Labour
Ah yes, it’s labours fault, nothing to do with the 2008 financial crisis then? How long have the Tories been in power ?
That crisis that Labour were told about in 2005. You mean that one. That one that brown made a statement in 2007 and brushed over it? You mean that one?
Sorry .someone accurately predicted the stockmarket crash 3 years before it happened?
Source?
I'll get the lottery numbers of them.

The things they have promised to do are amazing. Fantastic in fact.
Delivery on those schemes has been disappointing. Dismal. He should be following through to make sure banks are granting loans. Not just assuming they will.
My banks says please don't phone us, both operators are busy |

"Had Jeremy Corbin won the general election instead of Boris Johnson, how do you think he would have acted, reacted and dealt with the current global pandemic and why?
Looking back did we get the better leader or not for this global issue affecting out nation?" Things would have been a lot worse he would have been still dithering about what to do even more so than Johnson.I thing Starmer would have been best but not possible the luck of the draw |

The financial hit has yet to come going by the Tories track record record I wonder what's in store for us. |
