Somewhere In The Ether…

As a follow on from my MW Warzone thread yesterday and in the interests of keeping everyone’s spirits up: Name your favourite Call Of Duty game here.

I realise that this thread may appeal to chaps more, so ladies, no need to feel left out - describe your favourite lingerie

Whiting is very nice but I’d still opt for a UAV as my primary score streak.

The Antarctic Toothfush however - now that is a beast! Better than a Helicopter gunship in fact

I’m actually going with World At War; A perfect campaign and in my opinion, the best multiplayer (until hackers ruined it).

Maybe time for a remaster

The first two on the PC when they were still going for historical accuracy, never bothered with any of the last generation but recently got the Modern Warfare that they released last year and it's bloody good too! Not interested in the multiplayer side though.

COD4 was something magical. The game that set the bar for everything to follow

The first Black Ops and World at War for me just loved both campaigns and Black Ops multiplayer was really balanced. I love now they want back to Modern period as I didn't like the futuristic games as I like my FPS games to be based in reality.

Rumours are that the next COD will go back to basics once again (as was COD WW2) and this time be centred around Vietnam

My favourite was COD II, before it went modern warfare. I played the first modern warfare for a bit and the single player was good, however I discovered the multiplayer to be wank as people who had been playing for a while had a clear advantage over new players, just from the better equipment they had unlocked.
