So I was thinking, I've enjoyed every song Maroon 5 has brought out, I can't remember a bad song by the Stereophonic either
Obviously this is all down to taste, but who do you believe has never released a bad single |

"Rembrandt never released any stinkers as far as I can recall.
Probably should have said one hit wonders not included "
What a coincidence, I meant the artist not the Rembrandts the band. That’ll learn me to try and be clever with a play on words. |

"My Dying Bride and Boss Keloid both qualify in our eyes, love everything they’ve done! "
Songs of Darkness, Words of Light and onwards is where MDB started to lose me. The Dreadful Hours remains one of my all time favourite albums though. |

I’ve been mates with them for 15 years or so, we use the same rehearsal studios and always had a laugh with them and taking the piss out of them never listened to them until the last couple of years really and now we can’t get enough of them! New album came out last week! Love it! |

AC/DC with BON SCOTT...every album they recorded when he was alive was just so amazingly Brilliant... fantastic songs with Brilliant lyrics and when the play live today in a show with 20 songs on the set list ,13 of his songs are still played live everytime.,40 years after his passing...he was a lyrical genius. |

I'd say Arctic monkeys, Queens of the stone age, Leonard Cohen, The National, REM, RATM and I can't think of too many more.
All down to personal taste obviously. |

"Agreed they can lift me out of any bad mood and make me air guitar.
Gotta admit Back in Black is nearly flawless though."
Absolutely...no question about BACK IN BLACK...but in the mid 80's they had a few albums and just didn't land anywhere near the standard of previous albums but with Bon Scott..every one of their albums kicked ass |

Loads of shouts for the Foos on this thread and I'm a BIG fan.... can't say I loved "Dirty Water" on the Concrete & Gold album tho, a little bit "meh" for me that one.
And for those that mentioned Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars I'm gonna throw in the pay phone and staying in bed songs.... utter shite! |

Joy Division
My Bloody Valentine
The Smiths
Prince
The Beatles
Would love to say Bowie but his 80s output is generally poor and his early stuff wasn't the best! |

local, but not too local |
"Every artist has released at least 1 sub standard song. And I include my favourite bands in that."
Definitely. They’ve all phoned one in or released a crap contractually obliges album / compilation / live album to get out of a recording contract.
Singles is easier. Maybe I’m fussy about albums? |
