"And two in the same room ?"
That's with 2 alphas in the same room. We just stare at each other while womens knickers are falling at their feet covered in a sticky goo |

"Do they exist and if they do, what happens when you get two in the same social group ?
They have sex?
Hopefully they do, with each other!! X "
No they don’t lol, although they are happy to have a good look and a chat about cocks at the urinals.
Human alpha males get on great , unlike those whiny, indecisive betas always moaning about something |

Vast majority of those who think they are alpha males are no more than athletic/physical strength focused beta males.
Very few humans have the ability and capacity to be true alphas. We as a species are one of the most complex socially that the physical takes much more of a back seat in being an alpha than in most other species. Male and female. It requires a true combination of physical ability and presence, attitude, intelligence, and ability to lead - true leadership, not just organising a gang of d*unken fools. The majority of "alpha males" I've been associated with couldn't even do that.
It is a phrase that in society and pop culture has become twisted to purely focus on the masculine attributes. |

Nothing much until the alpha female enters the room, then they lie on the floor exposing their bellies |

True leadership, insight and authority come from much more than the things that are commonly attributed to the "alpha". Particularly considering those who label themselves.
Reflection, adaptability, ability to improve based on feedback, and above all humility.
Not brash brute force arrogance, no matter how charming the smile is that accompanies it. |

That's a negative viewpoint of the term, and not necessarily reflective of what the term actually refers to?
It certainly does use the word dominant in the dictionary, but surely that simply means someone who takes the lead in the classic sense?
Loud, brash, abrasive individuals who dont listen to others aren't Alpha males, they're probably more likely to be bullied? |

I said the way it's commonly used, though. |

I think since we have now developed our neocortex and have evolved beyond our primate ancestry the dominator hierarchies that are the domain of the alphas will gradually be dismantled or destroyed, despite the chest beating of the dysfunctional, outmoded, self-confessed alphas.... |

That is true. Hence the current rise in populist leaders |

According to Thomas Erikson author of "surrounded by idiots" true alphas are relatively rare (5% or less). Other personality profile models exist
If that is the case fab seems to have far to many dom men unless they all end up on fab.

"I am fascinated my men who self describe themselves as alpha males.. "
I would class myself as the alpha male in my home. Possibly even my street.
I wouldn't be stupid enough to class myself as the alpha male in my gym, work, pub etc!
It doesnt matter where ya go, theres always gonna be someone that's bigger and harder than you. |
