So I’m just sat waiting to start an up to 8 hour tattoo. I’m going to need distracting as this is going to hurt like hell! Who wants to hold my hand?!! |

Nobody goes near me the a needle, unless it is for some exceptionally good medical reason...!!!
I have quite a few random "tattoos", all one colour: they arrived quite painlessly!! They are called freckles....!! |

All the best, hope the session goes well! I’ve never had any problems with the pain, it’s always uncontrollable shakes that are my problem! Back of my leg was a nightmare, Tattooist had to forcibly hold my leg down  |

I can do 4 hours ok. After that is when it starts getting unbearable. My thigh one was 6 and a bit hours.
Next one I have I’m gonna split it but I like to have them completed on the day so I’m torn!x
Breath through the painful parts, inhale when they’re about to do it and exhale through the pain part! That helped me. |

It does help with the pain to breath through it. It’s probably where I got it from! |

My eyes also travelled in a South Westerly direction on the photo....but then I recomposed myself and reminded myself of my primary mission to study the beautiful tattoo before retracting my gaping tongue |

The was a lot of teeth gritting especially on my hip and pubic bone, but I was reading throughout and listening to music. Distracting myself helped rather then watching constantly. There was a couple of times where I just had to lie with my eyes shut when it was really painful but most of it was bearable! |
