I’ve just watched a film called The Midnight Meat Train. Bradley Cooper is in it so I thought it might be ok. Well it’s an hour and forty minutes of my life I’ll never get back. What other films should I avoid?!

Was bored to death by the new Star Wars Trilogy - Rogue One and Solo were pretty cool though.

Tom Cruise being the sole survivor at the end of The Last Samurai ruins the whole point of the film's story of sacrifice, my only guess is that the machine guns were at head height, everyone else got shot in the face but the bullets went over the bloody midget's head.

Remake of The Omen sucked too,

Loved the original.

"Hell comes to frogtown "

I actually watched this a few weeks back on the Pluto tv app.. it is awful but like so many of those b movies you can't help watching them. smokey bites the dust was on recently and that was totally shit. Cheap council versions of actual real movies are all over the Pluto app.. watch the Jack Hunter movies if you're looking for the poormans Indiana Jones.. I've never seen a tom hanks film, I've only seen the first 3 starwars & I hate superheroes except batman movies, Spider-Man cartoons and I did enjoy deadpool. The avengers stuff and anything like that which has huge massive power fights at the end are all really boring and just the same cgi crap churned out every year in my opinion. Give me T2 or rocky 4 any day of the week! Maybe it's just my age

Getting back to the original question there's a list as long as my arm but those twilight films I watched with my daughter were all really guff.

I loved "The Midnight Meat Train"!

Thought is was a riot, if you don't take it too seriously. )

It is ridiculous, but entertaining, but then again I am a Clive Barker horror fan.

Anything where Arnold Schwarzenegger attempts to do comedy is really bad. I think he did a xmas comedy called "jingle all the way". That was truly atrocious.

Personally, the worst film I saw is an arthouse science fiction film called "hardware". Really pretentious & frustrating without any redeeming qualities. Detested it.

"Once upon a time in Hollywood - seriously disappointed

J x

I was fancying that. What’s he messed up?

He's not messed up anything the film is incredible, think the negative press here is coming from people who went in expecting some res. dogs/ kill bill type violence flick which o.u.t in hollywood is sparce on. But i you like your classic movie iconography and vibrant characters with great storyline and amazing cinematography then its up there as one of his best imoit was crap i walked out "

Took me a week to watch it

Utter rubbish

"Remains of the day. Sooo boring "

I loved "remains of the day"

It is slow paced & not the sort of film I'd normally watch. I thought the whole sub plot of the of main guy anthony hopkins worked for being a Nazi collaborator during ww2, very interesting. I also love the soundtrack.

Personally, the worst film I saw is an arthouse science fiction film called "hardware". Really pretentious & frustrating without any redeeming qualities. Detested it."

Hardware is a cult film and simply brilliant. Great British sci-fi at its best.

Well it’s provoking some strong opinions. Thanks for all of them. I’m definitely going to watch it now just to see if I can spot all the points raised.

Thanks all!

Mother..

It left more questions than answers..

99% of the film only had one human in it and 3mins with another.

While I hate to subject people to such a movie, and I do dislike a good number of movies been mentioned here none of them can compete with Movie 43. Go see for yourselves and I guarantee you will view every other "bad movie" in a new light by comparison.

Opinions will certainly be changed.

Somewhere In The Ether…

If we’re talking big budget productions (I can somewhat forgive those films with budgetary limitations) then Michael Bay’s flag waving, CGI laden, vapid, crass and utterly intellectually insulting Transformers gets my vote.

So bad in fact that I watched it twice - the second time just to check that my viewing of said film hadn’t been all a very shitty dream.

As it turned out it hadn’t been....it was indeed utterly shit.

Of course. Just cashing in on F&F. They can't help kicking the arse out of everything and milking it for every last drop.

"Harry potter films.

Frozen.

Sweeny todd"

I hope you mean the Disney Frozen and not the one that sits well with "127 days" and "Open Water".

These three films are what I call, the stranded trilogy, even though they are not connected to each other, they still share a common vein.

We put the highly acclaimed Lighthouse on, then promptly turned it straight back off again.
