I have been using uber for awhile, and almost always had very good service from them. Lately I've been told to try Bolt by quite a few friends.
I asked a driver about it and he said it is the same drivers and they can choose to accept jobs from either.
When my researched Bolt I found the reviews are really quite terrible and that has put me off. I found it so strange that they are so similar and potentially even using the same drivers, Bolt is said to pay drivers better and is cheaper for the passenger.
The reviews they are shocking and that has really made me feel like I should stick with Uber. I wondered if anybody had any information or experiences to share. |

Iv used Uber for a while and except being told recently by my driver to "shut up you stupid woman" when I said that he had gone the wrong way down a one way system  Iv always found them really good.
Iv heard the same about Bolt so my thinking is, if its mainly the same drivers than I'm just going to stick with Uber. |

We don’t get either in my part of the country but on a recent visit to laaandon I was very impressed with Uber.
Excellent value and very friendly drivers in my experience. |

nope sorry i never use taxis as a matter of principal and certainly if i ever did would never use uber over traditional london taxi cabs because of the way they've got around ' the knowledge 'just seemed totally unethical to me, some things shouldn't be supported just because they are cheaper |

I sometimes use Kapten but haven't tried Ola, why would you say they are better? |

They are often more expensive and you have to wait much longer for a private hire taxi than an uber. |
