For many actors in Hollywood, a breakthrough or initial role will result in them being cast in pretty much exactly the same type of role throughout their entire subsequent career.
Give me your favourite examples folks.
By way of example, Andrew Robinson who played the psychotic Scorpio Killer in Dirty Harry has been pretty much exclusively playing looneys ever since.

Jon Bernthal, he's usually cast as a bad guy or a good guy who does bad things (Walking Dead, Sicario, Fury, The Punisher, Baby Driver etc), but he excels in it and having met him he's actually a really nice guy |
