I’ve been sucked into a few YouTube holes now where I find myself watching videos on ridiculous conspiracy theories. I think my favourite is that Eminem died in 2006 and was replaced by a look alike.

I have heard tell that single men are setting up couple and single female profiles on swingers sites in order to get off on arranging fake meets. That's just ridiculous... I mean how could that even happen? |

The phones aren't slowing down: the newest OS is resource heavy, so like humans it runs at the same speed it used to. This looks like the phone is to blame, when in fact it the the OS to blame
I have a 10 year old iMac running two versions of Mac OS, 10.6 and 10.9. The first one flies, the second one takes its time. |

Donald Trump hasn't left Trump towers for over 20 years and has a series of doubles. Some have speach impediments. Other have walking and movement troubles. A few have allergies to hair spray and orange paint. This has caused various political malfunctions over the years. |

Here’s a great one: A higher than normal frequency of shark attacks in 2010 at a Red Sea resort town (Sharm El Sheike) led to some rather fanciful speculation that Mossad was responsible(!) and that the Intelligence Agency has purposefully directed the culprit sharks to the destination via GPS technology as expedient bio weapons in order to decrease tourism in the area.

There's a podcast by a couple of Irish comedians called Those Conspiracy Guys. They take a deep dive into all of the above including some more obscure ones. They also look at some true crime stuff. Some episodes are up to 6 hours long, great for the commute. |

Atlantis was probably real at some point. The flood in the Bible was an actual real thing, due to lack of understanding of what happened it was put down to gods wraith. The theory is Glaciers melted causing huge amounts of water to enter the Mediterranean sea which forced itself over land to the Black sea which at the time was a fresh water lake. 150,000 square kilometres was covered with 400ft of water in a day. |
