I got a new oven today and want to start cooking more.

What do you make well and would be proud to make for a special guest?

If so, it’s bloody brilliant

Now there's a question. Now the obvious answer would be spit, but I'll find out at the weekend if I'm any good at that or if I squeal like a piggy

My chicken is always moist and juicy but just recently I've become quite the lamb queen

Up on them there hills

Best thing I have ever cooked was a game meat loaf inspired by HFW, it was for a charity cook off.

It was stunning, I got all my game for free, it was a bartering situation.

I’d a friend who grew vegetables and a lot of land with game.

Then there was a friend who fished trout, my 10 + % off the exchange worked perfectly.

Paella.

A good risotto with a proper base (cough TeaMonkey cough).

Jerk chicken and rice and peas.

Jam roly poly.

If I really wanted to impress I'd go full out with good steak and all the sides - homemade chips, macaroni cheese, tomato and parmesan ciabatta rolls, a decent salad not drenched in dressing, homemade onion rings, halloumi fries. I think I show love for people by cooking and giving them cheese.

Oh my ramen was getting epic but alas, that's halted for a few weeks.

It’s similar to a lasagne dish but 10x better, bechemel sauce on top of pasta with a spiced mince on the ground floor, served best with a green leafy salad, lemon & extra virgin olive oil dressing. Amazing!

It’s not a traditional Moussaka as I use in residents and spices that would have Greek chefs and cooks tearing their hair out.
