"I got a new oven today and want to start cooking more.
What do you make well and would be proud to make for a special guest?
"
Is this some kind of plan to get different people over every weekend to cook for you?
If so, it’s bloody brilliant |

"Chicken balti. Fucking banging it is
I also do a pretty good roast
P
Which roast?
"
Now there's a question. Now the obvious answer would be spit, but I'll find out at the weekend if I'm any good at that or if I squeal like a piggy
My chicken is always moist and juicy but just recently I've become quite the lamb queen

Up on them there hills |
Best thing I have ever cooked was a game meat loaf inspired by HFW, it was for a charity cook off.
It was stunning, I got all my game for free, it was a bartering situation.
I’d a friend who grew vegetables and a lot of land with game.
Then there was a friend who fished trout, my 10 + % off the exchange worked perfectly. |

Paella.
A good risotto with a proper base (cough TeaMonkey cough).
Jerk chicken and rice and peas.
Jam roly poly.
If I really wanted to impress I'd go full out with good steak and all the sides - homemade chips, macaroni cheese, tomato and parmesan ciabatta rolls, a decent salad not drenched in dressing, homemade onion rings, halloumi fries. I think I show love for people by cooking and giving them cheese.
Oh my ramen was getting epic but alas, that's halted for a few weeks.

Always been a lover of meet based dishes, I tried experimenting with vegetable based dishes, “ do love a risotto “.
End result wild mushroom risotto with brown cap mushrooms purée, raw asparagus shavings, lightly blanched asparagus tips, truffle oil. |

"Makaronia tou fournou
Although, I’ll never make it better than my Grandma used to (RIP)
What is it?
Greek food is so delicious!"
It’s similar to a lasagne dish but 10x better, bechemel sauce on top of pasta with a spiced mince on the ground floor, served best with a green leafy salad, lemon & extra virgin olive oil dressing. Amazing! |

"Moussaka is the one I get most praise for.
Ooohhhh teach me oh wise one
I like a moussakka but have never made it."
It’s not a traditional Moussaka as I use in residents and spices that would have Greek chefs and cooks tearing their hair out. |
