I broke off a meet once because I told him I had something come up at work and had to rebook. Truth was I just didnt feel like getting my ass off the couch to get ready. |

I pushed a lad called Michael in the cloakroom at school when I was 7 because he had been tormenting me for weeks. He caught his cheek in a coat hanger hook and ripped it and had to be taken to hospital. He said ‘He fell over messing about’. I live with the guilt of that but I swore I’d never raise my hands in a fight since. I haven’t, despite being attacked in 5 occasions since. The only time I was hurt at all was a cut over the eye. In that case I thanked my assailants and they fled when I told them where I was going. That was the last time I experienced any violence in my life. I was 18. |
