"We are both quite happy sitting here with each other supping a mug of coffee. Does that make us sad?
If it was a weekend night, now that's a different story."
Coffee is as good as wine in my book! |

I have some of those cheap plastic cups - you know, the sort that instantly bend, split and spill the contents the very moment you lightly grasp them. Effortlessly classy me |

Ha ha - they’re the ones I’ve cut myself on them a few times in the past. Mind you, all is not lost for although they may fail utterly miserably as cups, they probably do make for highly expedient scalpels should one opt for a spot of DIY surgery |

"I shared a bottle of red wine on Saturday night, it worked out at £10.50 a glass..... "
We went to a pub just before Xmas - 2x Pinot and 2x Amstel £32.00 - £11 per glass of wine, needless to say we went somewhere else for the next drink! |

Got bought a bottle of Chateauneuf by a happy client of mine. On the rack waiting to be opened....it’s 10:24pm on a school night on Thursday...but what the hell. I’m going downstairs now to open it! |

"I’d share it with anyone who’s sharing cake
Wine and cake do not go together in my world
I have a 1998 Grange and was going to pair it with a chocolate fudge cake "
Nooo, you need to appreciate the flavour of the wine on its own.
I'll bake you all the cakes you want if you want to share that?
