Possibly, however as everyone is different, so everyone has different signs. Some are very obvious, some not so.
In my experience different orgasms have different 'tells' too. Asking just clarifies so they know for next time.

I think men are used to doing so vocally during oral sex as obviously a shot of high powered liquid unannounced into the throat has the potential to cause kerfuffles? With a woman's climax this potential issue is removed.
Women IMHO always announce when they are approaching and reaching climax regardless, though like most communication tends to be from ladies in my experience, it is a lot more subtle and not quite so fundamentally spelled out.
