More meds! Including Glyceral Trinitrate and a date with the Cardiologist in two weeks to discuss surgery! Sooner than anticipated.
It is hereditary, I don't drink, or smoke and eat well as well as exercise.
My Dad was diagnosed with this at my age and was dead at 50, so yeah trying to stop myself getting my affairs in order lol.
So yeah! Hit me! Well not literally! But well you know what I mean! Give me happys please!!

Did you hear about the girraffe race??
It was neck and neck
Hope that put a little smile on your face. If it didn't, I will try again, but believe me when I say, the jokes get worse (this was my best one) |

I feel your pain. I have a heart condition too. But medicine progresses so quickly. My great grandma was dead by my age, I just have to take medication indefinitely and have ECGs and echos every few years which is a small price to pay really. |

It won't help but I was with a Tgirl friend of mine last night, her mum died in similar circumstances when she was 50 and my friend was diagnosed with similar symptoms to you in her 50s and similar meds. She is 75 now x |

Sorry to hear OP at times like this you have to try and be positive and strong and take each day as it comes, trying not to focus on the negatives (have been through a similar worrying time with a close relative lately so know exactly how it feels) - and worrying though this is I hope you manage to find that which I know isn't easy but sending positive vibes (no not *that* kind ) your way |

Definitely. Medical progress is a wonderful thing. I don't have a heart issue, but I have a permanent, I suppose you might say degenerative condition. Longer trajectory for mine, but in Victorian times I wouldn't have seen adulthood. Now, it's as if the condition doesn't exist as long as I take my pills and get a blood test annually. |

What did the fish say when it swam into a wall?
DAM!
Sorry! It's baaad I know xxx
Sending huge love and encouragement to feel what you're feeling. Be with the present as much as you can, be gentle with Your tender self and just do small steps in life until you're ready for the brave leaps. That's big news.. a big wave crashing on your shore!

Op, I worked with a top Cardioligist in London and although surgery may sound scary, these guys know what they are doing. Wishing you all the luck in the world that they can fix you.
I was diagnosed with a brain tumour nearly 9 yrs ago and surgery has not been an option for me, I just pop the meds that make me feel like shit every day. It’s rubbish. Sending you hugs xx |

My uncle had a massive heart attack when he was 37.
He's in his 70s now and all good.
Medical advances since then have come on in leaps and bounds.
I wish you all the best x x |

Hey op... Id bake you a triple chocolate cake... With candied bacon crumbles... Then cuddle with you and run my fingers through your hair while telling stupid jokes... After you fall asleep due to either the relaxation of the cuddles or the absolutely dreadful comedic performance by me.. Id tuck you in and show myself the door |

That's some tough news to hear, I hope you're bearing up okay.
Medicine can yield some amazing results though. I had a nasty surprise and ended up in a cardiac ward about 15 years ago - today I'm fitter and stronger than just about anyone I know my age. There is always hope. |

That’s Some big news to deal with. I can already tell from your response that you’re one tough cookie with exactly the right attitude though - that tells us you’ll be fine and adapting to this .
I actually think Fab is good for supporting people with the more serious stuff in life. Don’t be afraid to draw upon that support, including from me! |

Awful that you’re going through this, but brilliant that you’re GETTING through this. Have a heart condition myself with bits being more enlarged than they should be (and not the bits I’d want to be ;P ) and the best thing to do is just chill out and keep on going!
All the best! |

Thank you! Glad you are getting through it also.
I have mitral regurgitation caused by cardio myopathy.
Looking at operating sooner rather than leaving it after the angina episode x
What will be will be, my Cardiologist is amazing luckily |

Sounds intense. On one hand there’s nothing they can do for my condition, but on the other hand that does mean I don’t have to think about surgery. Amazing what they can do these days. Fella at work had a five way bypass a few months back and basically extended his life to 100 |

Born with it, I’m afraid. Didn’t know until I was 14 but i try to keep fit and active and not eat too much bad food.
Besides you’re not old, by today’s standards people live until they’re 105 so you’re not even middle age yet |
