I love swimming, I find it incredibly meditative.

Lifting for me, just a big yawn-fest. I really want to like it because I know all the benefits of it, but it's just boring as.

I find outdoor running meditative (nice word btw!). Treadmill running on the other hand

Once ran 16 miles on a treddie, was training for a marathon but it was really icy and dangerous to run outside. Was ready to slit my wrists by the end of it!!

You should try a beer ultra, you have to slug a beer before the race starts, and then one every 5k, and one at the end. Not great for a PB, but a whole lot of fun!

I was doing 9.45 BFT whilst drinking, quicker when sober, but sooooo boring

Won't get into it on here, but it's interesting to find out the latest thoughts on time you need to exercise and the time you need to rest.
