Love them!

Come undone is my favourite, followed by Planet Earth, Girls on Film, A View to A Kill, The Wild Boys!

Had tickets to see them in concert about 10 years ago, but my child became ill and we didn't go! Gutted!

Random but nonetheless invaluable Duran Duran factoid: Did you know that John Taylor (bassist) and Roger Taylor (drums) and Andy Taylor (former guitarist) are entirely unrelated?

Also note: Durans, Roger Taylor does NOT in fact play drums for Queen

Seen Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel many tines through default at festivals.

TBH didn’t know DD covered it, but thanks for introducing me to it, it’s awesome, & agree much better than the original. Is it on an album, or only a song they play live? When I closed my eyes it could have been Erasure!!

"Delighted to see The Chauffeur getting so many votes. I'd say The Chauffeur and Careless Memories. Got a soft spot for Wild Boys too. Ridiculous song...

Betting lots of you like Japan too...

Yep, Come undone is my DD track, Ghosts is one of my favorite songs ever..

They did a gorgeous cover of Smokey Robinson's "I Second That Emotion", I may even have a 7" of it somewhere I still have it on vinyl too. Love Forbidden colours too. Theme to merry Christmas mister Lawrence is sampled

Ryuichi Sakamoto

Top man, shame he never got around to working with Bowie again

"I can remember watching the video for Girls on Film at my friends. Her grandma was disgusted, we on the other hand were swooning.

Nick Rhodes was my teen crush.

My sister went to see them in the 80's, I must of been 12ish and she said I was too young to go. I never forgave her for that!!

Presume that was the clean version as at grandma's?

S"

They were sexy in a page three kind of way. If you want low down, dirty sleaze you need Soft Cell. "Non Stop Erotic Cabaret" is one of the perviest recordings ever made and I still play it now
