Somewhere In The Ether…

Thy favourite band/artist from this most glorious musical genre if you please good people...?

(I’ll get the ol’ball a rolling by listing The Buzzcocks as my numero uno)

Near Wells

The Undertones.

I've seen the Buzzcocks loads of times, both bands have some excellent songs.

Southport / Ellesmere Port

So many to choose from, the Pistols, the Clash, the Damned, the Ruts, Buzzcocks obviously but today I'm going to pick Stiff Little Fingers, their Inflammable Material album is pretty much the perfect punk album.

Sorry monkey not meaning to offend you ... I'm too young to have actually been there...this is from watching a few documentaries and hearing people's opinions ... I'm sure 40 yrs later the ones that are left have picked up a few chords

You haven't offended me. I guess you only discovered the Jam thanks to oasis and OCS. Just the suggestion that the bands couldn't play is laughably uninformed

Before he went Electronic, Gary Numan under the guise of Tubeway Army was brilliantly punk.

Go check out The Plan and the Tubeway Army albums
