I think Northampton has become the hive for timewasters. I know its the old old story, but tonight I had virtual promises of three couples meeting me at a hotel room. One couple even gave me a time they would arive.

Guess what no one showing and one pair sent a wink and then started having a go at me over arranging it,I replied and they blocked me now after they had a go. Shame we can't name and shame these wasters who get their kicks from this behaviour.

its not just you it happens to we all get but your right we should be able to name and shame there should be a tick box on every ones profile to say they are timewasters and if it get so many ticks from diffrent people then there profile gets and auto name and shame

That would be great but Also it could and Prob would be Abused by People.

definatetly guilty pleasure. One pair we had messaged 11 times over the last week, I gave then postcode and name of hotel, this morning no problems now they say, U not given details, we wouldnt meet a stranger at a hotel etc, see what I mean?

nameing and shaming wont work as we all know . if people made def arrangment with you and never turned up then report to admin as no shows and they will deal .

I gave them my mobile nunber if they wanted to speak to me, they said they would meet me here so I didn't have to offer anything else. I had arranged three as some of them were keen on a group and from my side I thought that at least one might turn up out of the three, having expected the usual fall out.

So what would you have done if all three couples had turned up?....with only some of them being interested in a group situation?

Maybe they would be starting a thread right now complaining about some bloke misleading them.....just a thought

All three had expressed they meet groups other cpls and singles, so didn't against anyones wishes and they all said it was Ok.

To a degree, is this not a sefl fulfilling prophecy? The OP was not commited to the meet, maybe the 3 couples he was messaging picked up on this lack of commitment?

I have never ever made any contact with you or been to Cheltenham. I have never failed to meet anyone arranged, during 10 years of swinging as single and couple. I think u must have mistaken me for someone else. When was I supposed to have done this?

If a couple say they are coming at a specific time to a specific place, until they show up its a virtual promise to me, unless they ring or text on the evening to say they are on their way.

That would never work.

We would all have ticks on our profiles, from people who just didn't like us for whateveer reason, so therefore a complete waste of time.

I got it....and it's the perfect way to show why it won't work, it's just a shame that people keep harping on about naming and shaming when, as you have shown, it can be open to obvious abuse.

To the OP...name and shame will never be allowed on the site....maybe do as many checks as you can BEFORE you go on a meet and it might save you wasting any time.
