Hefty Hideaway

I'm terribly uncool.

The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping is my absolute favourite.

There and to the left a bit

There's only one winner of this as far as I'm concerned and it's the Xmas song that you can play all year round...

Fairytale Of New York - The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl

Shane MacGowan - Christmas Lullaby, one of the darkest Christmas song there is.

"I hope you grow up angry

Just like your dear old dad

I hope you grow up brave and strong

Not like me - all weak and sad"

Wow, cuts like a knife.

There is only one Christmas song, it’s just not Christmas until Noddy Holder tells you it is. It should be compulsory for retail outlets to play it over the festive period.

On a more serious note though, remember folks, SLADE are not just for Christmas.

I have two favourites which I just can’t split.Fairytale of New York Shane MacGowan unique voice and the exchanges in lines with Kirsty MacColl make it a very special song for me.Last Christmas by Wham I am a big George Michael fan the video in which he goes away for Christmas with friends and his ex girlfriend is there with his friend makes the song a bit of heartbreaker

Driving home for Christmas

My ex husband started a new job approx 1 hour away so we had to relocate.

House sale completed 21st Dec. He & my daughter moved away on 21st. I had to stay with in laws to work my notice

I drove to join them 24th Dec and Driving Home for Christmas played on car radio

I've never forgot how I felt that day

Solstice Bells by Jethro Tull is classed as a Christmas Song by many and quite rightly so, along with Greg Lakes "I believe in Father Christmas" they would be my choice of Christmas favourites

These, and I Believe In Father Christmas by Greg Lake are my top three

12 days of Christmas by either: Metro, Nestor Pistor, Faye McKay or Bob & Doug Mackenzie

O Holy Night - Haley Reinhart

And every other Christmas song by everyone who ever sang it I am not biased. I just chose those because I was watching F is for Family and adding videos to my youtube channel.
