I have a persistent cough following on from the flu. It is annoying as hell.
Google says I'm dieing. And we all know the best place to ask for medical advice is from the Karen's of the world on the Internet.
So does anyone have any advice for soothing and helping get rid of a sore throat and dry cough? |

Avoid dairy products and banana, instead take citrus fruits, rum with warm water and half lemon. Brandy is best. Take Steam, humidify room, drink plenty of waters, soup mix with white paper, Ginger and green chilies (as per tolerable level) |

Lots of things may help but a post-viral cough can sometimes linger for a few weeks. Try honey and lemon Lockets, breathe in steam, bit yucky but gargle with salt water and use a decongestant like Vicks. |

I am being serious. I put coconut oil on a carrot and stick it real deep down my throat and wow I am cured every single time. It has to be a fat carrot though.

do you have any other symptoms like short of breath.
struggerling with work
if not just a common cold for night use vicks vapor rub helps to breath better also allows you to cough out flem better
sore throat only the black lozengers worked from halls for me and a few others .
and drink plenty of drinks |

I don't know why people don't take me seriously  doing it won't turn you into a dildicorn that's just my natural form at the moment I am sorry to disappoint. But I swear to the Lord above that a nice gag on a coconut carrot really does cure a sore throat. Make sure you really get it deep so your eyes water (clears your sinuses)
