Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

That was the right decision.

I guessed who would be in the dance-off correctly... I think that means the public voters are taking it seriously now all the comedy acts have done. Even the comedian is taking is seriously.

I really like Michelle, but her dance was rubbish. Chris should have been in the bottom two this week, rather than Saffron, but the right person went this week.

I don't see an attitude and I don't know how one can be too accomplished.

He's got a natural rhythm and he's quick to learn. He works hard. When he gets it wrong he is more determined next time to get it right. Those are good traits to have.

He's young, the rehearsal film when his Mum visited showed him as a loving son with a doting mother. The others appear to like him.

What's the attitude you see?

Seems like a very decent, hard working, incredibly driven young man.

What he lacks, in my non dancing very humble opinion, is the emotional maturity to give more depth and variety to his routines.

Needs his heart broken!

I mean that he has had considerable dance/musical training and it shows. Last week when he was given unfavourable comments the look on his face and tone of his voice, to me, gave the impression that he feels somewhat superior. Of course this isn't the first time trained dancers with superior attitudes have been part of the show just look at Debbie McGee.

His youth and pairing with Amy is my only criticism. Sometimes hair and make-up make them look like she is much older and he is much younger. Their dancing is well-matched.

I hope his girlfriend doesn't break his heart.

I like his Bromance with Chris and their little hugs and kisses.

I think they have been future-proofing by getting YouTubers and younger people on, introducing same sex dancers and disabled people. Johannes and Motsi have added new personalities. We've got another couple of series yet.

"Yes, to some degree, it does. I really wish it didn't and all the contestants start on a more level playing field."

The trouble with that is they could end up with a group of completely useless dancers which wouldn't make for such great viewing - imagine if they picked a group of John Sargeants and Anne Widdicombes!! By sprinkling a few "ringers" in that have previous dance experience they at least *know* they are going to get a couple of good ones to sustain interest through to the final.

The ringers rarely win, if ever (I can't remember). The public likes to see a journey and generally rewards that.

Oh absolutely, but my point was they can't guarantee that someone will take a journey so the ringers are necessary in case of that eventuality becoming reality

So you didn't consider Debbie McGee a ringer? Ballet trained? Much as I actually liked Paul Daniels and his inane jokes, she was a "Tah Dah" girl from his act. But he obviously thought she was a lot more than that.

Some may have done dance at stage school, I don't think it would help them that much in the competition, TBH. I agree you have to have a little bit of talent in the competition. Emma Barton has been on stage in the West End, that shows in her dancing. Nevertheless, I think we've ended up with some good dancers and an interesting competition.

Well a bit of a mixed bag this week...I thought Saffron was very heavy footed this week, so maybe in the dance off again. Emma made a few mistakes and her top line was weak, so I think she will be in the dance off too. Great improvement in Chris in his Paso, he's the greatest improved for me. Alex too has done well but her legs were too stiff for the Argentine Tango. Kelvin still up there for me with Karim a close second.

Saffron is a good dancer but doesn't have the fan base and Chris has the fan base but isn't as good a dancer were as Emma has both in her favour, yes this dance contest but popularity is the key, and the BBC knows that, they make more money on the phone in from popularity so I'm sure they have a word in the ears of the judges, but this aside Chris needs to go on dance merit alone even is I am a fan

I wasn't surprised to see Karim in the dance-off. I thought the public would split into two groups who wouldn't vote:

- those that thought it was a bit arty

- those that assumed with such a high score he'd be safe.

Saffron was a bit stompy this week so it was the right call for her to go.

Anton couldn't quite believe they'd survived. Has he ever got this far before?

Chris can't possibly last next week, can he? I did enjoy his dance this week.

- those that assumed with such a high score he'd be safe.

Saffron was a bit stompy this week so it was the right call for her to go.

Anton couldn't quite believe they'd survived. Has he ever got this far before?

Chris can't possibly last next week, can he? I did enjoy his dance this week."

Based on the dances this week Saffron was right to go, but I wouldn't have been surprised if Emma went this week. Karim is a great talent, wasn't keen on his couples choice though

I think with Saffron gone it's between Kelvin and Karim to lift the trophy. However I'd love to see Alex really shine. She needs to really believe she can do it.

It was a surprise to see karim in the bottom 2 but like I said earlier it's coming down to personality, Emma/anton, kelvin and chris have huge followings I'm not sure how Alex has a big support but her dancing has picked up, the worst dancer of the night thoe was Saffron, she was so good a few weeks back but her bar seems to have droped

From his first shimmy down the steps Kelvin has been my favourite. I also think he's gorgeous, love the chemistry between him and Oti and his joy of dancing is infectious. You also get the impression he's having the time of his life and doing it for his family, not for a West End roll.

Karim is a fantastic dancer but too ott and annoying on so many levels for me.

Team Kelvin!

"Anton couldn't quite believe they'd survived. Has he ever got this far before?

"

Anton got to the final four with Katie Dereham a few years back but was first one out in the final back when they used to eliminate one couple before the end.

I think the right decision this week as Saffron's dance was the least impressive of the night - although was surprised to see Karim down there but as others have said it's as much a personality contest now as it is a dance one.

The final three though is going to be difficult to predict - Kelvin and probably Karim should both be there on dancing ability (and Kelvin for me is already the clear winner for sheer consistency) - after that pick anyone from the other three who are all on a similar level - probably Alex or Chris purely based on the fact they have gone from being complete non-dancers to where they are now.

Whilst the judges didn't seem to like it I personally loved watching Alex's Argentine tango that, for me, had all the passion and fire one is supposed to have.

Karim and Kelvin should be in the final. Sometimes a strong dancer does get put in the dance off on the odd week but they usually win through in the end (possible exception of Ashton a few years ago).

A lot of it at this stage will probably come down to the luck of the dance you get. Generally the celebs struggle more with the latin dances (quite probably the reason Saffron went out this week as it was quite a weak performance compared to the others). Emma will probably survive next week as she's got the Charleston which, as long as she gets a good swivel, should be a strong one. Which might mean Chris and Alex are in the dance off....

Love them both, best dancers by far for me Karim is too short and he looks to be overworking his lines , just looks fast and choppy to me , not much fineness I always think but that's just my opinion ,

There are certain dances that suit everyone. Jive is good for Karim because he is compact. I didn't see what probably everyone else saw , to me he looked a bit like a whirling dervish lol but less control "

You see I thought the same, his knees looked to be going too high too. Now obviously I am not a judge but something just didn't look right so I didn't like it as much as say Jay and Alionas or Kelvins jive

Its between Karim and Kelvin for me. Karims jive last night was amazing and in my opinion desevered more than 40 plus Hairspray is one of my favorite musicals.

I dont usually vote until the final but I voted for Karim last night as I couldnt believe he was in the dance off last week.

"Emma and Anton to win the series as Emma is gorgeous and Anton deserves to win after appearing in every series and generally having a clunker of a partner

When he did have someone good he still didn't win. He is hopeless at Latin.

I feel he's getting a little old now. Would like to see him as a judge

Oh gawd I wouldn't"

Really, don't you like him?

When did they change it? Do the professionals know as their knees don't look as high as his?

I don't know him. His constant trying to be funny is tedious though and I don't think he would be good as a judge "

When I was teaching both feet remained on the floor, one straight leg and one bent leg, not keen on the way they do it now

He'd be as good as any other judge on there apart from Sirley

Nor I: he always wants to be centre stage with his tedious jokes.

I'm not a fan.

,

She's really out there isn't she! Yes they're sisters, she was a professional on the German version of strictly and then became a judge, so she should know what she is talking about

My mum and dad used to do a brilliant jive....they danced it like how the professionals in strictly do...they would have been 93 and 92 this year if they were alive.

To be fair though...I was saying I thought his knees looked higher than how everyone else does it when doing kicks as to why I didnt know if I liked it that much
