I saw the ad for the first time today. It was so sweet.
I can just imagine the merchandise that is going to come out of this one though. Every child is gonna want a John Lewis dragon for Christmas! |

They're on sale right now.
It was ok. I don't think it's their best.
Last year Twitter did a version with the American man called John Lewis who gets, and answers, all their Twitter complaints. That was good.
John Lewis & Partners sent him a hamper and a toy dragon to coincide with the ad launching as his messages go mad at Christmas.

Ostensibly there have been a number of complaints regarding the advert believe it or not - specifically when the snowman is melted(!) Apparently some children were left upset after thinking it was Olaf from Disney’s Frozen and that Edgar (the little dragon) had murdered him(!!!)  |

Oh for ffs seriously! If my child was upset I’d just explain and make light out of it, certainly wouldn’t be on the phone to ofcom! Parents sometimes need to behave |
