What do you do to entertain yourselves in these long, dark evenings? I'm at a loose end generally, there's only so many times you can read the holy scriptures, they never change. I'm not much of a tv watcher; over the years I feel like I've missed out on epic viewer pulling escapades such as Dirty Dot Coton falling in the canal and JR was doing whatever he did. I sometimes wish I was more normal so I didn't feel left out. So much of our popular culture has passed me by.
So, inspire me. What wonderful and original pass-times do you get up to as we head into winter? |

"I thought it was going to be about the Jam."
Like I said; I miss out on a lot of popular culture so I had to google that.
Seems they were some kind of band which had moderate success and then gave up. |

In the summer I’m always out walking but no so much in the winter evenings.

That, the obvious or read is about it
