That's pretty cool, I bought one of those huge powerful magnets and a length of rope online a while ago and haven't used it yet for magnet fishing. I wonder if that's a good activity to do.  |

I took a lady to the theatre a few years ago. We had been chatting for a few weeks and she said she wanted a grown up date. Footloose was on at the Alhambra in Bradford so we met there. It was a good night. We laughed, danced and it lead to kisses, cuddles and several more dates. It's definitely better than the cinema for a first date. |

I think of all the things to do, a cinema is a bad first date as you can't really talk while the films on. |

Depends on each person, the time and the place,time of year etc ... a lush meal with excellent company or a visit to the races or building sand castles and a picnic, just all depends |

This sounds a bit sad but... I love national trust parks and places of natural beauty like forests / beaches etc. So I’d go somewhere like that and sit by a pretty lake or on the sand listening to the waves, with a picnic |

Anywhere we can talk really and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. Scenery or swankiness isn't importantant - theres time for that if date one goes well...... |

I once booked a weekend away as a surprise we went wine tasting and treasure hunting (adult kind) we’d only been going out a few weeks and was my birthday, good job he’d nothing planned for me |

I was once taken to a painting class on a first date. My idea of hell (I hated art in school and I'm not remotely creative) but actually it was great - enough to do to keep us occupied but without stopping us from talking and having a laugh.
Since then I've been to a cheese school and a cooking class as dates, all worked really well though the cheese school was absolutely the best (plenty of cheese, plenty of whisky, plenty of tipsy fumbling afterwards). |

In Liverpool they are lovely, lots going on by the water front plus the Liverpool wheel, loads of beautiful places to eat, relaxed and casual or formal. |
