Somewhere In The Ether…

Does anyone else here remember those glorious moralistic epilogues at the end of Masters Of The Universe episodes?

Typically something along the lines of: ‘Today we learnt that Orco found that it is always better to ask for help from his friends rather than be an obstinate prick and go it alone.’? (I may admittedly have paraphrased that a tad...)

Anyhoo.....do you remember any specific examples and moreover, did you learn anything from these wondrous nuggets of wisdom? Indeed, as a direct result do you subsequently live your life now by the sacred teachings of Greyskull?

If so - raise your hand now fellow Eternians!

Alternatively, ladies - please send me a lovely photo of your boobies

I love he-man and skeletor. I remember no lessons except I’m sure they shaped me morally.

My boobs are out because Tuesday. - Mrs

Oh my days i’d forgotten they did that! So no, none left a lasting impression, sadly. That i’m aware of.

I watch The Amazing World of Gumball with my kids and i’m deuced if I can find the moral guidance in that, if they even bother.

You see, kids TV today just doesn’t supply the moral fibre as in the good old days.

Indeed, I owe everything to and am the man I am today thanks to He Man’s wondrous teachings

His horse was a fountain of knowledge for sure; easy upkeep to - some WD-40 and he was good to go

A treasury of knowledge in them

I had a lovely picture book of Easops Fables as a child

The illustrations scared the hell out of me though for some reason......

The little bald dude? Yes indeed, he was a wise old bugger but for some reason he used to scare me a fair bit..... I’d have wanted a stringent DBS check on him in fact
