What's your favourite thing to put on toast?

I've just made a really simple cheese and spring onion melted mountain of goodness, and some tomato chutney.

Bread has to be fresh uncut! Real butter, salted! Spread thinly with thick cut marmalade or bramble jelly! And a strong cup of tea ! Heaven

Proper thick chunky toast....slathered with thick cut shredded orange marmalade then topped with mature cheddar and then back under the grill until the cheese becomes bubbly golden melted goodness. Let it cool for a minute or two or you will remove the skin from the roof of your mouth.
