This is excellent advise OP. Forget going to a club. I think you need to sort your head out regarding how you view sex. I get that you want normal sex , not from a prostitute.

Most people starting out have sex while in a relationship. You need to have confidence to chat up women in pubs and have a one night stands.

Women in club's expect to meet experienced lovers, not someone who considers themselves a virgin.

Find a hobby, go to evening classes, mix with ordinary ladies and build up some friendships, so that you are more confident in social settings first.

Then build up from there.

The advice I was given when I struggled to get sexual/romantic attention was this.

Drop it. Go, live your life. Find hobbies. Make friends. And yes, that sounds futile, but it's not. You're more attractive if you're interesting, if you have things in common with people. Do you have any close/ meaningful, if friendzone, female friends? If the answer is honestly ‘yes’ it shows you can develop some sort of friendship with women and a relationship is possible. If honestly the answer is ‘no’ learn how to communicate with women in a respectful way.

I am guessing there is a conference issue and in my experience being in a sex club, particularly as a slightly shy single guy, isn’t good for boosting your confidence.

Ok, throwing my 2 pence in here.... regardless of whether the OP is genuine or mildly confused about his virginity/dom/switch status I just wanted to put my opinion in the mix about a couple of things;

Firstly - Virginity - why does it have to be given ot taken? It's literally no more than sex for the first time. The whole concept is a bit archaic and used to keep women of yester year from jumping into bed because of social views on sex at the time, and also because contraception wasnt so readily available - both of which are mute points in 2019.

There is so much power around virginity (positive and negative) that shouldn't even be there - it's a totally made up concept!!

Secondly- Escorts/prostitutes - I don't understand how the fact that it is a job takes away from a persoans validity as a sexual partner?! I have known a couple of girls over the years that have escorted (not a route I've considered myself because I wouldn't want to turn a hobby into a job

)

Just because she/he is receiving payment for her/his service does not make them less human. Having slept with a male escort myself (and paid!) I would wholly consider him to be a valid sexual partner and very much a really lovely human being. That's like saying that it an escorts number of sexual partners only counts with those that they have slept with outside of their profession??

I'm not sure it matter more for men than it does women? Not on a feminist rant here or anything, but it's just sex? Is sex not just an act that makes both parties (hopefully) feel good, and at what point is there any difference in who you have sex with if it's consenting and enjoyable for both parties involved?

Having sex for the first time should be just that, maybe a little more fumbling and the occasional awkward moment, but it gets better for everyone with practise

Just personally don't see the difference in value of "virginity" for one gender over the other is all

I think there's a stereotype that men have sex for pleasure and women have sex for love. It's certainly how we're socialised, but it isn't universal.

Sex is what you make of it. Although the concept of virginity is definitely problematic.

OP several questions spring to mind having read through the thread - could you possibly answer each of them, as you appear to have ignored them previously and it might help people understand and be better placed to answer:

(1) You have a meet veri - was that a social only or did sex happen?

(2) You state on another thread "I've been a dom for as long as I’ve been in to the bdsm scene" - acknowledging that BDSM doesn't have to involve sex, did you pay submissives for that also, or have you successfully found submissives that you have been dominant to without paying? If you have not paid them, then it shows you are capable of attracting women and therefore able to do so to have sex

I havent read all the replies but from what I have read I really think you are better off spending money on a sexual health therapist than paying for sex or trying to go to a club, etc. Whatever is stopping you fron finding someone to have sex with and to connect in a deeper way, won't be solved by going to some club. I’d say it might be wiser to seek out social and community chances for you to connect with people. Many in clubs do want others with experience and if you feel demeaned by having to pay you may feel used at a club. It sounds like you’re looking for connections and feeling desired. Your self worth comes from yourself your accomplishments and your own confidence. Well, let us say it is a wonderful thing. Why do you think that you will find those amazing "girls" (what a term to use in one's 30s) through this site or in a swingers' club? Why not just carry out as you do and wait until you meet that perfect woman and walk into the sunset with her? I was a virgin until 26, but my advice is don't worry about it. Don't go out looking for sex, you just look desperate.

I did meet the woman I lost my virginity with at a club, but not a swingers club, a night club. It was one of the few nights I went there to have a drink and a dance and not in the hope of getting lucky.

I got talking casually to a girl at the bar, bought her a drink and before I knew what was going on we had a few dances and she she was getting in a taxi with me.
