High frame rate just doesn't work as a cinematic experience. It does make the 3D more solid and more defined, but it makes scenes appear paradixically too realistic and makes a multi-million dollar Hollywood epic look like an amateur dramatic stage production. Every fake nose, stick-on beard and polystyrene boulder sticks out like a sore thumb. |

I saw it in 2D and not only were the special effects (ie younger fresh prince) poor but the story was a typical storyline. Nothing exciting as was evident from the trailers and thus why I chose 2D.
Never knew they had higher frame rate movies but from the reviews above doubt I'll watch any movie in this new way for now. |
