Looking for films to watch.

I've seen many but every now and again I find one I haven't seen.

Films like Bohemian Rhapsody, The Buddy Holly Story, Walk The Line. Etc.

Or films with great Soundtracks like,

American Graffiti, Quadrophenia, The Boat That Rocked. Etc.

Any ideas? Ta....

Somewhere In The Ether…

Ray starring Jamie Fox as Ray Charles - great film.

Also, for a brilliant movie based on a fictitious band, That Thing You Do is wonderful.

And let us not forget, This Is Spinal Tap, the granddaddy of mocumentaries

Always thought Dazed & Confused had a great soundtrack, and was a great film as well.

Yeah, Spinal Tap, a classic. I've got Ray on DVD but not got round to watching it yet though.

I'll check out the other one. Ta.

Worth a watch then. I don't mind a bit of The Clash.

It's when the clash were at the give em enough rope era. That was the first time I saw them at middlesbrough town hall when I was 17 x

I might have seen Control. But then again it might have been a documentary about Ian Curtis.

Was a while ago.

Another one to check out. Thanks.

Try the Dirt on Netflix. Excellent Motley Crue Biopic. Even if you don't like the band it's very funny and well done.

For pure soundtrack awesomeness you can't beat Blues Brothers.

If you like music and weird stories, try Searching for Sugarman. It's a genuinely incredible documentary about a guy who recorded one album and vanished. Unbeknown to him it became a monster hit in South Africa, and the documentary is about a couple of fans trying to. Establish who he is/was and whether he's still alive

There and to the left a bit

It's not out on DVD yet but the film Yesterday about a guy who gets hit by a bus and wakes up to find no-one has heard of The Beatles is possibly one of the best films I've seen in years

Madness bio-pic Take It Or Leave It is worth a watch as is their musical Our House
