Posters on here insist on posting to a thread thats clearly not for them?
Op asks what is it you like about x, y or z? Then you will always get more than a few "we dont like that" "that doesn't sound like somthing we would enjoy at all" "cant understand why anyone would want to do that". then the threads clearly not for you and the op didnt ask for your opinion. Dont read it and certainly don't reply.
Drives me bonkers, first world problems i know but had to get it off the chest lol cant be alone on it tho?

In response to the OP, sometimes they're just making it known that is isn't for them (hopefully in a respectful manner but hell that's not always the case)
Sometimes they just want to feel like they have a voice.
Sometimes in my case I think if something rather witty and feel it would be criminal not to share and give others a giggle.
Other times, the header puts a song in your head, and rather than keep that damn ear worm to yourself you need to pay it forward.... just like this one.
I don't mind though, I bloody love The Carpenters.

Some feel like making theirs public, others don't.
It's an internet forum.
We have no choice but to accept that once we post a thread, it gives others an opportunity to reply.
They may be constructive in the discussion, destructive, abusive, or even humorous.
Ours is not to judge but to clearly state our point and, when the need arises, argue in defence of our position, with reasoned arguments.
Where others demur to snide comments, personal insults, or blatant ignorance, we use the Block button, to ensure they can't interact with us directly on our profile.

How am I running you down? I was making an observation, you cannot pick and choose who comments in a thread you create, just like you can't expect to create a thread then moan when people disagree with you.
Almost everyone on this thread has made a joke out of it, I have seen very few serious replies, are you going to moan at them too for not taking your thread seriously enough or not answering your question? |

Not hung up whatsoever, just expressing something that makes me roll my eyes up to heaven and was genuinely curious why people feel the need to express an opinion the OP hasnt asked for. Its always the same few people aswell

It bugs me too. I see things all the time. Eg. Thread about how much o.p. likes little boobs asking for pics of them. Bet your bottom dollar busty women will post saying stupid stuff like "oo not me!" That's one example. But happens on lots of topics. I find it attention seeking and annoying |

A lot of the posts and threads are attention seeking and self indulgent and not to be taken too seriously. Have received abusive messages call name, received messages from guys posing as couples, asking to meet alone. Welcome to the forums |
