Hi all, I was told a couple of days ago that a piano being played really does it for them.
Is there an instrument that you find particularly sexy when someone’s playing? It’s a cello for me for some reason, just the tone and how graceful you look playing it. |

Susan Sarandon playing the cello in Witches of Eastwick comes to mind.
However the sax or the harp are the two sexiest instruments for me. Sax is more earthy full blooded sensuality whereas the harp is more softly erotic |

I’ve never heard them before, I’m assuming it sounds similar to the Scottish bagpipes? I love the sound of them, when played really well. Beautifully haunting but I’d never have thought to describe them as sexy |

It would surely depend more on the music than the instrument. Nothing sounds sexy if it's played out of tune.
Sadly no one has selected my instrument though I did play horn when I was younger. |

Higher pitch but similar sort of idea - pumped with underarm bellows rather than a mouth inflated airbag.
They're used in Irish traditional music.
There are also Northumbrian pipes which are the English equivalent t to them and are widely considered to be the great great grandaddy of the Scottish bagpipes. |

Suppose sax is regarded as the sexiest, I think any instrument played well is sexy. Recently met a Swedish girl who was amazing on the drums and it was sexy as fuck. Would never have considered the drums sexy but anything played well to me anyway is sexy. |

Cant stand the sound of a saxaphone, i dont know if its the actual sound or the way tv and film used it as a lazy shorthand way to say "LOOKOUT A SEXY BIT IS STARTING". Sounds like a duck farting to me.
Give me an electric guitar everytime.

The sexiest music instrument is the voice. As a singer, my voice gets me laid after gigs more often than the drummer, guitar players, keys or brass section. Or maybe its the tight jeans with the big bulge at the front that also makes a difference! |

The only reason the singer gets laid more than the drummer is because they're off chatting to the ladies whilst I'm still packing all my gear away...

The bagipes.
They may lack the grace of a flute, or sophistication of a saxophone (or the sound of a musical instrument..)
..I have a friend, that called the police on a group of people playing the bagpipes outside his flat.  |

I forgot to add that I’ve never got the saxophone thing at all. The sound does nothing for me, and most sax players seem full of their own self importance as if they believe their own self publicity.  |

No self importance here, it's an instrument I enjoy playing. If ladies find it sexy it's a bonus. |

Well reading through this thread I’d better dig out my sax and start practicing not played for years but used to be able to knock out Baker Street well and a few other tunes.
As I recall it’s an easy instrument to play but very hard to play well |
