"Yes ... netball, I can't get a sport where you're not allowed to run with the ball
I know it's fast flowing and skillful ... just hate watching it ..
So I don't"
And yes they are, they seem to be thriving here in Sussex |

Horse racing, golf, snooker, tennis, and although I've won a few trophies and even played against Eric Bristow, watching darts on the tv bores me stiff....
An ex of mine used to collect hedgehogs, not the real ones obviously |

Cricket
Not the one that has been run over just outside my office window
But generally, yes they are...noisy little buggers though, I rescued one once that was far too small for hibernation and kept her overnight before the wildlife rescue could take her |

For me personally, I really don’t enjoy watching any slow paced sport which features lots of standing around with seeming long periods of inactivity (golf and cricket being two prime examples).
Random Hedgehog fact: Did you know that there are seventeen distinct species of these lovable little critters?

Ditto and only a couple of players are allowed to score. You could be amazing and throw the ball in from the length of the court and it doesn’t count. Go figure. |

Baseball - that’s another sport that I simply cannot understand the appeal to sit and watch.
Another, rather sad Hedgehog fact this time now though:
It was estimated that there were upwards of thirty million hedgehogs in the UK in a 1950’s study.
This is in stark contrast to today’s estimates which put the Hedgehog population at around a mere one and a half million or less and still declining |

Football- the sport of dullards!
Cricket, I can sleep perfectly well without watching it- same with golf
Not really a sport, but WWE wrestling is so bad it’s laughable- not sure why anyone over 10 takes it seriously |

As a bonus (somewhat non related) question: Hedgehogs are blooming cute right?

Literally any sport, but particularly rugby...it makes football look interesting, and that’s already like watching paint dry! |

Knowing the rules doesn’t make it less boring! |

I can see what he mean ie the skill factor, I do remember him saying “ you’ve pretty much got 0.2 of a second to react” ( as a batsman) |

There’s skill in most things I guess....but you have to wait ten minutes for every 0.2 seconds and half the time the don’t attempt to hit it zzzzzzzz |

I can watch any sport for a maximum of 5mins apart from snooker which Im happy to dwell on for an hour or so.
Dislike anything where you feel you have to revise to join in the conversation. |

Golf
Horse racing
Anything that originated from America.
I quite like cricket, England are world champions (that was exciting) and Somerset nearly won the County Championship. The rules are quite simple :
11 men bat until they are all out, then the 11 men from the other team come in and bat until they're all out. Repeat so both teams bat twice, the team with the most runs wins. Quite simple really.
Also nice watching it with a glass of Pimms |

Sorry to be pedantic, but 11 players (due deference to women's cricket) bat until 10 are out, then the other side do the same.
Should be the team with the most runs, but dare I mention the Duckworth-Lewis System!!!!!
Somerset were unlucky.....bloody Essex... of all counties!
(from a Kent supporter....so what do I know anyway) |
