I had a group assessment the other day and after an introduction they asked everyone an interesting fact about themselves. Me being the youngest person in the room, after I presented myself best to my ability. I dropped my English accent and admitted my English accent is fake. Jaws were dropped. my accent is American.

I’m from Buckinghamshire where traditionally we speak in a straw chewing yokel standing by a five bar gate/farmer ‘Oo ahhh!’ Giles type twang.

Needless to say, I bury my accent as best I can

My Doctor once said I had the blood of an Olympic Athlete

I found it funny because at the time all I was doing was taking recreational drugs drinking and smoking everyday

and doing no exercise

they tested my blood again just to make sure it was mine

I'm almost 40 and still have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life, there's teenagers banging on about climate change and I can't even remember what day the recycle bin goes out. That being said someone still pays me for showing up each day
