Petty well go along with this. I'm a bit old school so when I use it it's meant as, and delivered as I assure you, an insult. Anyone it describes are being stupid to the extreme. And if you're a prick you shouldn't really be in the same room.

Where I live, it's commonly used as a casual replacement for the word 'person', and not always in a derogatory way. E.g. 'Remember that cunt Davy from school, I saw him the other day, with some cunt I didn't recognise'. It's also a weird sort of endearment, like if you saw a friend in the street, you could cheerfully say 'alright cunt, how you been?' It's used so much in conversation at random here that I'm completely inured to it. I never had much of a problem with it anyway when I was younger, but now it's so commonplace to me I use it myself often, and don't care.

It depends on how it is used.

As the orignial and accepted word for female bits then yes it's fine in the right company.

As an insult it's very unimaginative.

"An I right in thinking the Scots use it more affectionately than us Sassenachs?

I think most people in Scotland use the word cunt to mean person.. that cunt or this cunt is used all the time without any offence intended "

Especially when referring to their mothers.

It gets me when someone with a posh accent says it.

I wish there were voice messages on this site.

Why? As an american I’m constantly shocked by what we are and aren’t allowed to say lest we harm the Brit’s ears. . Will add this to my list as one more word to hesitate saying because my accent is so offensive lol "

Its just a word, and it's all in the context unless you're a narrow minded assuming cunt.....

"Small" in theory looks like a harmless word, but what if a girl told you your dick was too small to satisfy her, then small would become a massive punch in the nuts, right......?

(Obv, personally that's never happened to me, my penis is beautiful, I'm just saying......)

When the woman you think most of in the whole wide world says something like "Stevan, you can be a cunt sometimes, but you're wife always a beautiful cunt and I love you..." cunt softens up a bit, no....?

It’s a very special word. I try not to use it too often because I don’t want to spoil it, but there always seems a situation where it’s the perfect word.

Told someone who had pissed me off they were a cunt.

He suggested I had a poor grasp on vocabulary

I countered that on the contrary I had a very wide vocabulary, however for him, cunt was most fitting

I like the word

Nothing wrong with an American accent. I used to cam chat on another site with a few American girls and I loved their accents. A couple of them did seem a bit shocked when I did say the c word tho
